Escape games continue to subdue the whole world, and this time Playful Solutions has created a global competitive mind gaming tournament inspired by the movie ‘MindGamers’ by Terra Mater.
Mission Unlock Enoch is the first International Championship for all gamers, who love brainteasers, puzzles and logical thinking. Teams up to 4 can compete to ‘break out’ of the digital escape room. Qualifier events are taking place in more than 50 cities around the world, with the chance for players to present their country in the World Finals in 2017 (in Budapest, Hungary).
How to take part?
There are 3 stages.
First, head over to Red Bull Mind Gamers, where you’ll be able to prove your mind skills in a single-player online game, and if you’re good enough you’ll qualify for a place in local events hosted in your country.
Second, gather your powerful team of 4 and prove your teamwork skills at the local qualifying events where your team will try to unlock a mysterious digital cube in 25 minutes. Now local events in some cities are already over, but there are a lot of cities where you can qualify right now, e.g. Budapest, Tallinn, Milano, Moscow, Kaunas, Ankara, Kyiv, San Diego, Boston etc.
Third, the best national teams step up to the next round and will be invited to the final stage of Mission Unlock Enoch - the Escape Room World Finals in Budapest in February 2017.
What to do if I don’t have an event near me?
Don’t worry, there’s still a chance to be part of the tournament. You can also earn your spot on a global online high score list, with the four best players winning a „Wildcard“ for the Mission Unlock Enoch World Finals, receiving an invitation to compete against the best mind gamers from all participating nations.
What’s the prize?
Of course, you'll get the title of the ultimate Mind Gamer worldwide. Moreover, the winning team of the World Mind Gamers Final will be awarded one Global Prize consisting of a 3 day trip to Boston organized by Red Bull with two way transportation at dates to be agreed between the Global Winner and Red Bull. You'll have a chance to take part in developing a new escape game together with MIT Game Lab.
